Job Summary

Oklahoma Human Services is seeking highly motivated professionals to join our Child Welfare team as a Child Welfare Specialist I, II, or III. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across Oklahoma.

As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect, providing services to help families overcome barriers that put their children at risk, and working with communities to strengthen protective capacities of parents and caregivers.

We offer an estimated annual salary range of $37,280.75 - $43,968.62, depending on level of experience and education. This position also comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

In addition to competitive compensation, we offer extensive training programs to ensure your success in this critical role. Our Child Welfare Core Academy Training Program provides hands-on experience in treatment and preventive services, case assessment, and community referrals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Completion of 90 hours from an accredited college or university; OR 3 years of experience related to child welfare work; OR A combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree (in any field) to qualify; OR One year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
  • Master's degree; OR a Bachelor's Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist; OR Two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
