We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress. As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient-centered care to individuals with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.
Responsibilities- Develop and conduct individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals.
- Document evaluations, modifications in treatment plan of care, and responses to speech language pathology interventions.
- Determine the efficacy of therapeutic interventions, technologies, and outcomes, and the utilization of support personnel.
- Work collaboratively with other therapists, nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals to deliver a team approach to each patient.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
- Speech Language Pathologist License issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech and Hearing Association is required.
- 1 year of experience in a Speech Therapy Setting, preferably in Acute, Inpatient Rehab, Pediatrics, or Outpatient setting.
- Current BLS certification is required.
