Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting near Cypress, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in an educational environment and be passionate about helping students achieve their communication and language goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, language, and social communication skills.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment and support students' overall educational progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
  • Offer guidance and support to school staff and families on strategies to improve communication skills and manage speech and language challenges.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Knowledge of current speech and language assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
