This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing training programs for the entire university community, including faculty, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Training Programs
    • Design and deliver comprehensive educational programming to address topics such as sexual misconduct, discrimination, and harassment.
    • Collaborate with campus partners to develop and deliver culturally responsive educational programming and outreach for students on sexual misconduct.
    • Develop and deliver programming to increase awareness of university policies and processes, options for reporting, and resources for individuals affected by sexual misconduct, harassment, and discrimination.
  • Develop and Distribute Outreach Materials
    • Develop, distribute, and publicize materials to increase awareness of sexual misconduct, harassment, and discrimination, and of university resources, reporting, and complaint resolution processes.
    • Design and develop multimedia content to communicate the educational mission of the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance to the university community.
  • Strategic Planning and Program Evaluation
    • Develop and implement a strategic education and outreach plan for sexual misconduct, harassment, and discrimination prevention.
    • Conduct benchmarking of other universities' training programs and assess the effectiveness of Northwestern's existing training programs.
    • Administer evaluations of programming and maintain complete records of all prevention, education, and outreach efforts.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with campus offices and partners to develop and deliver training programs and outreach materials.
    • Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students to increase awareness of university policies and processes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, social justice, or human resources.
  • Experience
    • 2 years of experience in program administration or a related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.
    • 3 or more years of experience developing and delivering high-quality trainings and materials.
    • Experience training various constituencies on sexual violence prevention, sexual harassment, discrimination, workplace conduct, LGBTQ issues, and/or other related topics.
Preferred Competencies
  • Effective project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to act independently and exercise sound judgment.
Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is between $60,000-$65,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
