Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced On-Site Construction Coordinator to join our team at Chesapeake Contracting Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with a focus on site operations and coordination.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, including scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety. They will also provide leadership to field employees and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

About the Role:

  • Lead and coordinate site operations teams to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain master project schedules and 2-week look-ahead schedules
  • Conduct precon meetings with subcontractors and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with contracted scope of work, schedule, and quality control
  • Collaborate with the Safety Department to develop and implement jobsite-specific safety plans

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably as a Superintendent or similar position
  • Familiarity with construction management software, including MS Excel, Word, and Procore
  • Possess a valid Driver's license and maintain OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certification

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $180,000 per year
