Certification Details- ACLS certification is required
- Specialty: RN

- Number of Beds: 20
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients
- Unit staffing description: Unit secretary on days & nights, occasional tech help
- Type of equipment: GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Patient Experience requirements: at least 1 year critical care experience
- Must have: 1 year critical care experience, Meditech experience
- ACLS, NIH certification
- Ability to manage: arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths/cardiovascular & vasopressor drips/ventilated patients
- Procedures performed on unit: Bedside central line placement, Massive transfusion protocol
- Scheduling requirements: 36 hours/wk, 3 weekend shifts/4 weeks
- Floating policy: Contract labor floats before core staff
- Unit Name: CCU
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
