This is a non-management role that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician I to join our team.


Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will perform pharmacy-related functions in compliance with department policies and procedures. You will work under the direction of a pharmacist and be an active member of the pharmacy team.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and prepare medication orders
  • Making deliveries to nursing units
  • Compounding medications (sterile and non-sterile)
  • Performing quality assurance responsibilities
  • Participating in Tech-Check-Tech functions as a certified technician


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6 months experience as a Pharmacy Tech
  • State Certified Pharmacy Tech with the SC Board of Pharmacy
  • Thorough knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology
  • Good mathematical, computer, and aseptic technique skills
