About the Role

Inizio Evoke is seeking a skilled Copy Supervisor to join our team. As a Copy Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in crafting comprehensive healthcare professional copy platforms for assigned accounts. Your responsibilities will include executing copy for certain projects, mentoring and supervising junior writers, and acting as a master brand product information specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate high-level professional expertise and superior writing skills
  • Bring originality and innovative thinking while maintaining consistency with brand messaging
  • Possess awareness and familiarity with medical and scientific information relevant to assigned brands
  • Understand how to research and source credible information to craft compelling copy
  • Work closely with medical, strategy, and behavioral counterparts to ensure quality and rigor in the work
  • Present to clients and workshop revisions in client reviews
  • Ensure all work delivered or overseen is strategic, thoughtful, accurate, and creatively compelling
  • Partner with assigned art partner to develop impactful creative concepts
  • Present and speak to the meaning behind concepts
  • Set priorities while handling multiple projects and delegate work appropriately
  • Review and provide feedback on the work of junior writers
  • Mentor junior writers and help them develop their skillset
  • Establish thorough knowledge of client's business
  • Contribute to new business activities
  • Support planning and strategy in the development of creative or project briefs
  • Support the evolution of brand personality and positioning
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in advertising/marketing, with pharma experience required
  • Experience writing for HCPs
  • Ability to write clear, cohesive, scientific copy for multiple channels
  • Ability to unravel complex data to create a clear and compelling narrative
  • Clear presentation skills with an education edge
  • Ability to oversee others executing multiple projects and independently manage complex projects assigned
  • Decisive problem-solving skills with advanced listening and coping skills to remain clear-headed
  • Understanding of how to use and apply medical references and validate with Medical Editor partner ahead of MLR submissions
  • Strong cross-functional partnership with other departments and the ability to find a solution when there are competing priorities
  • Knowledge of AMA style
  • Understanding of the principles of production (print, online, broadcast etc.)
