We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our culinary team as a Pizza Maker at Redstone Restaurant Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas that meet our exceptional standards.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Communication
- Greet visitors, vendors, and colleagues in a polite and professional manner.
- Pizza Preparation
- Stretch, top, and cook pizzas in the wood-fired oven according to presentation standards and recipes.
- Kitchen Maintenance
- Keep the kitchen counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators in a sanitary condition by following health and safety protocols.
- Food Preparation
- Prepare individual food stations with the necessary ingredients for the shift.
- Quality Control
- Uphold the quality requirements for specific food items such as meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products.
- Shift Preparation
- Arrive punctually for each shift and be prepared to begin working.
- Food Safety
- Ensure that all necessary food preparation steps have been completed.
- Cleaning and Organization
- Ready the cooking area for the shift.
- Team Collaboration
- Interact effectively with coworkers, wait staff, and management.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Abide by health and safety regulations.
- Restaurant Operations
- Uphold restaurant rules and regulations.
- Waste Management
- Manage food waste responsibly.
- Communication and Feedback
- Share ideas and report problems to management.
- Team Meetings
- Take part in all meetings.
- Administrative Tasks
- Fill out any required forms.
- Equipment Maintenance
- Inspect and maintain all kitchen tools and utensils.
- Cleaning and Sanitation

- Education
- Possess a high school degree or equivalent GED certification.
- Skills and Experience
- Be detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues.
- Be knowledgeable in kitchen safety, sanitation, and equipment use.
- Possess knife skills and basic cooking knowledge.
- Have prior experience in the food service industry (highly desired).
- Have knowledge of HACCP regulations.
