Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Canastota, NY. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight across the Northeast and Canada, with occasional stops in other states. We offer a competitive pay package, including $0.65 per mile with miles per week and $21.75 per stop with stops per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
