About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team on the Cardiology unit at Huntsville Hospital Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of evidence-based clinical practices.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized plans of care to meet those needs, and evaluate patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Provide education to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing practice, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering compassionate and evidence-based care.
