Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. Below are the key details of the role:

  • Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC (1 day/week)
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years with a bachelor’s degree

Role Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in virtualization technologies, particularly with Aria. Key responsibilities include:

  • Extensive experience in configuring VMware and ESXi servers
  • Support for enterprise-grade ESXi servers and VMware software
  • Designing, planning, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale VMware installations
  • Expertise in ESXi server operations, VLAN management, VMC, and hybrid cloud implementations
  • Proficiency with Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator, and Aria Operations
  • Experience in PowerShell/PowerCLI scripting

Candidate Expectations:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise-grade ESXi server support
  • Expertise in configuring and supporting various technologies
  • Ability to assist the IT Enterprise Hosting Services team with daily operations and ongoing projects, including troubleshooting VMware and ESXi server issues, developing new designs, and managing maintenance tasks

  • Support for daily operations and project initiatives within the IT Enterprise Hosting Services team
  • Expertise in VMware and ESXi server configuration
