Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the operations related to the installation of submarine cable systems. This includes:

  • Engineering and executing deep-sea installations
  • Managing vessel loading processes
  • Conducting route clearance operations
  • Performing post-lay inspections and burial operations

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the engineering and implementation of deep-sea installations
  • Collaborate with a team on submarine cable system installations
  • Support the supervising engineer in vessel loading tasks
  • Develop methods of procedure for installation and loading activities
  • Provide training support as needed
  • Engage with various functional engineering groups and external contractors

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of shore end installations, deep-sea installations, vessel loading, and related operations
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for extended assignments
  • Basic engineering, mathematical, and computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong communication, technical writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • A BA/BS in Engineering is preferred
