Job Summary

DriveTime is seeking a highly detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for sale by cleaning and detailing the interior and exterior of the vehicle. This includes washing and buffing the exterior, vacuuming and cleaning the interior, and making any necessary repairs to ensure the vehicle is in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock vehicles when they arrive from auction
• Prepare and move vehicles around the Reconditioning Center for distribution to retail
• Detail vehicles, including washing and buffing, vacuuming and cleaning, and making minor paint touch-ups
• Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles
• Perform inspections and keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle's condition
• Identify and complete repairs effectively the first time to minimize re-work and delays in production
• Work in ways that decrease the possibility of injury to yourself or other team members in the shop due to spills or other preventable hazardous conditions
• Work with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated cost of repairs and/or the overall quality of the vehicle

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and insurable DMV record required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
