Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Driver to join our team at Waste Pro. As a Front Load Driver, you will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck checks and cleaning
  • Empty containers using levers inside the truck cab to empty container into the truck using forks
  • Transport waste to a designated local landfill/disposal area
  • Complete route/productivity sheets, records mileage, fuel consumption, log book (as required), Vehicle Condition Reports, and other forms
  • Communicate professionally with customers and report any customer issues/complaints to appropriate internal contacts
Requirements
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works
  • Requires a safe driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices
  • Understand Department of Transportation and State requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles
