Job Overview

Position: Youth Recreation Facilitator

Location: Mooresville, NC

We are seeking dedicated part-time Youth Recreation Facilitators to enhance our after-school programs.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday (hours may vary)
  • Some Saturdays may be required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of recreational activities, focusing on after-school and out-of-school time (OST) initiatives.
  • Assist in the arrangement and dismantling of furniture and equipment for facility rentals.
  • Oversee the game room, open gym, and various drop-in activities.
  • Provide assistance to participants and uphold facility regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for working with children.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in problem-solving scenarios.
  • Capability to foster positive relationships with colleagues, participants, and their guardians.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's license.

Compensation:

Starting pay at $14.50 per hour.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule Options:

  • 4-hour shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Evening shifts

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of 1 year in childcare is required.

Work Environment: In-person engagement is essential.
