Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN PACU Nurse to join our team at Tallahassee Outpatient Surgery Center. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to our legacy of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients postoperatively
  • Ensure a comfortable and supportive environment for patients and their families
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the surgeon
  • Exhibit proper technique for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks
  • Perform head-to-toe evaluations of patients using a approved scoring system

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
  • 1+ year of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery
  • Active RN license and BCLS Certification
  • ACLS and PALS certification within 30 days of hire
