Your Contributions to Our Team:

  • Prepare analytical recommendations for the advancement of new or improved processes that optimize production and quality.
  • Analyze capital investments and project designs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct studies on capabilities and time management, executing improvement strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of equipment, tooling, and fixtures, troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Ensure quality equipment and fixtures are maintained and calibrated, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to support quality and production objectives.
  • Monitor key process metrics to effectively allocate resources.
  • Facilitate information transfer across shifts and plant personnel.
  • Review budgets and forecasts, integrating them into daily operational decisions.
  • Develop innovative practices and solutions to enhance production rates and output quality.
  • Engage in Kaizen and project engineering initiatives within the facility.
  • Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing and maintenance teams, providing backup for shift supervisors as needed.
  • Contribute to team goals by performing related tasks as required.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments relevant to Milwaukee.
  • Test and inspect Milwaukee Tool products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and investigate root causes of non-conforming parts.
  • Interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot electrical assemblies and components.
  • Train technicians on troubleshooting tool failures.
  • Utilize various software tools, including MS Excel and Quality Management Systems, to collect and communicate data.
  • Read and execute work instructions proficiently.
  • Apply technical problem-solving methods to address issues effectively.
  • Operate laboratory equipment safely and maintain its functionality and calibration.
  • Support cleanliness and organization within the lab environment.
  • Participate in quality initiatives through defined sampling or collection plans.
  • Develop and implement new audit plans as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Technology.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience; supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • A high level of self-initiative and proven project management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of production systems and techniques, with the ability to learn and apply management tools.
  • Computer proficiency is essential.
