JOB SUMMARY

Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse or a designated warehouse function.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Continuously assess the group's processes and methods to guarantee optimal utilization of resources and equipment.
  • Supervise daily employee performance, including training, evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Assist in maintaining key performance indicators to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support efforts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Pursue ongoing improvements in processes to boost throughput, enhance efficiencies, and lower costs.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Execute other work-related tasks as assigned.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise warehouse, shipping, and receiving personnel.
  • Provide periodic reports on departmental key performance indicators.
  • Perform additional work-related tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Prior warehouse experience is essential—Industrial/Manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is required—Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Forklift, JIB, and Overhead crane operations.
  • May operate Class II & IV Forklifts (Hyster & Order Picker / Manlift / Reach truck).
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Willingness and ability to travel—limited travel (5%) is required.
  • Capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and communicate effectively with subordinates.
  • Work environment may involve significant temperature variations.
  • Standing, walking, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily.
  • Regularly lift weights up to 45 lbs.
  • Must be capable of safely lifting up to 45 pounds.
  • Required to wear a Fall Protection Harness when performing tasks at heights.
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained in all job functions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential.
