Job Summary:

Prisma Health seeks a dedicated Polysomnographic Technician to work in our Sleep Disorder Center in Richland, SC. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our sleep program.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct polysomnographic testing procedures, including PSGs, pneumocardiograms, MSLT, MWT, and home sleep testing, according to physician orders and departmental policies.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
* Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sleep medicine and apply new knowledge to improve patient care.
* Participate in educational activities, such as training sessions, workshops, and conferences, to enhance professional growth and development.

Requirements:

* Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in sleep medicine and/or respiratory care.
* 2 years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist required. In lieu of an Associate Degree, 10 years of experience in sleep medicine and/or respiratory care accepted.
* CRT-SDS OR RRT-SDS credentialed by NBRC, RPSGT credentialed by BRPT, licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina, and current membership with AARC or other job-related professional membership required.
* BLS certification and basic computer skills necessary.

Estimated Salary: $60,000-$70,000 per year,
