Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Event Specialist - Part Time to join our team at Product Connections. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through in-store food and non-food demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of products represented, including features and benefits.
  • Deliver engaging and informative demonstrations to customers, showcasing products in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
  • Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and secure in the designated area.
  • Communicate effectively with store management and colleagues to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Assist with event setup, preparation, and execution, including food sample preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work environment, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports, as well as complete online requirements in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Proficient ability to use and navigate personal computers and mobile devices using applications and internal systems.
  • Food Safety Professional Certification and local food handlers permit (if required) are a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move throughout the store, as well as use small appliances and cooking utensils.
Working Conditions

This role is based in a retail store environment with limited travel. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.

Language Skills

English is the primary language skill required, with bilingual skills a plus based on business necessity.

Salary

The starting salary for this position is $15.00 per hour.
