About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Monitor Tech to join our team at Dallas Regional Medical Center. As a Monitor Tech, you will play a vital role in providing indirect care in the department setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and facilitating communication needs.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors
  • Transcribe physician orders in the absence of CPOE and EMR clinical documentation system
  • Verify lab tests and radiology tests have been ordered and done
  • Prepare and complete records in the ICU
  • Order supplies for the unit and prepare patient charts
  • Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care duties
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate
  • Previous experience as Monitor Technician preferred
