Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate essential support machinery, including overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Conduct bearing analysis and installation.
  • Complete basic mechanical tasks and projects.
  • Lubricate small equipment, manage oil storage, and ensure proper disposal of waste oil.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair milling equipment.
  • Collaborate with the mill operations and technical services teams to implement general maintenance and construction projects.
  • Respond to equipment emergencies as needed, available on a 24-hour basis.
  • Assist in developing skills of other department personnel.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including safety and environmental standards.
  • Meet or exceed performance expectations set by management.
  • Exercise discretion and sound judgment in all job functions.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
  • Ensure punctuality and regular attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of equipment lubrication and oil management processes.
  • Basic mechanical skills, including cutting and welding techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • General understanding of mining operations and familiarity with milling and maintenance processes.
  • Proficient in using PC software for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  • Demonstrated verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in crusher maintenance is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must meet 'Authorized User' requirements for high-risk activities as per job duties.
Compensation and Benefits
