Clarkson University is seeking a highly skilled ERP Programmer Analyst III to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support for the development, enhancement, customization, and maintenance of ERP Administrative Systems.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement system modifications to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve program errors, data errors, and system issues.
- Support interfaces between systems and other internal/external systems.
- Document and review technical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical assistance to users, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work on small development projects, from start to finish, with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate the migration of technical projects to production.
- Lead large development projects, working with other analysts to coordinate development, testing, and documentation.
- Oversee the implementation of vendor-delivered patches, bundles, and fixes.
- Assist users with implementing functional setup to administrative systems.
- Associate's degree in an IT-related field (preferred: Bachelor's degree).
- Three years of experience in one of the following systems: PeopleSoft Financials Supply Chain Management, PeopleSoft HRMS, or PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (preferred: five years of experience).
- Strong technical skills, including SQL scripting, PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleSoft Fluid development, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, and XML Publisher.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competency in SQR, SQL scripting, PeopleSoft Fluid development, PeopleSoft XML Publisher, PeopleSoft Application Engine, PeopleSoft Application Designer, and PeopleCode programming language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and address technical issues.
