Fabcon is seeking a skilled Concrete Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our precast concrete manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Ensure compliance with all published and posted safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Pre-Manufacture Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of materials, products, and processes to identify potential quality issues.
  • Quality Data Entry: Accurately enter production and quality data into our computer system to track and analyze performance.
  • Quality Problem Identification: Identify, document, and report any quality problems to production or quality management for prompt resolution.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve material, processes, and products to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the lab, testing areas, and equipment are clean and well-maintained to prevent contamination and errors.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate leadership by example, treating production and yard teams as customers, and working collaboratively as a team player.
  • Continuous Learning: Strive to improve technical knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and development.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic Qualifications: Basic PC skills, strong attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to read blueprints and production drawings, and basic understanding of test measurements.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing concrete tests and problem-solving skills.
