Role Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care to patients recovering from various medical conditions, including strokes, cardiac events, and orthopedic procedures. You will:

  • Provide patient-centered nursing care and engage in patient and family education.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, providers, and therapists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate discharge planning needs with healthcare team members.
  • Maintain cultural and diversity awareness while interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A degree from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in rehabilitation nursing within an acute care hospital setting.
