Key Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with senior clients and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living.
- Deliver personalized care and support, attending to individual needs and preferences.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition, recommending adjustments to care and service as needed.
- Assist clients with life skills and other enriching activities, as outlined in their individual care plan.
- Provide 1-on-1 personal care and home management, as instructed and documented in the client's plan of care.
- Facilitate activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene, leisure activities, and socialization.
- Support local seniors with shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and companionship.
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements:
- Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties in service to clients.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the client's best interest.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
