Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with senior clients and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Deliver personalized care and support, attending to individual needs and preferences.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition, recommending adjustments to care and service as needed.
  • Assist clients with life skills and other enriching activities, as outlined in their individual care plan.
  • Provide 1-on-1 personal care and home management, as instructed and documented in the client's plan of care.
  • Facilitate activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene, leisure activities, and socialization.
  • Support local seniors with shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and companionship.
  • Ensure client safety and well-being at all times.

Requirements:

  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties in service to clients.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the client's best interest.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
