About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer Manager to join our team at Hydro-Thermal Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product design teams to develop new products and enhancements
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to prioritize projects and allocate resources
  • Analyze and develop new product developments, including estimating engineering hours and production costs
  • Improve and maintain existing products through NPD, ECR, and ECN processes
  • Oversee and approve final engineering documentation for products
  • Configure existing products for customers
  • Specify components, assemblies, and materials based on design inputs and research supplier offerings
  • Project manage product projects, monitoring labor and material costs within design input constraints
  • Perform calculations, including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and finite element analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and design
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with CAD programs (SolidWorks preferred)
