Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain and repair electrical equipment, including PLCs, using ladder diagrams and schematics
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques to analyze and resolve electrical issues
  • Participate in preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment operation and safety standards
  • Perform electrical inspections and report findings
  • Work with engineering to upgrade electrical systems and install new equipment
  • Operate a variety of manufacturing tools and equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lifts

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and relevant training or certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and motor controls

Working Conditions

The Electrician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to loud noise, airborne particles, and heavy lifting. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is also required.
