Overview:

The primary focus of this role is to implement best practices and methodologies in the design, documentation, deployment, and management of Infrastructure solutions through automation. This position entails the construction, deployment, and maintenance of various automated systems while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including vendors and external partners.

The individual will offer technical expertise and leadership to clients and cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines. Responsibilities include creating and documenting systems/application architectures and managing complex technical initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of solutions that automate enterprise infrastructure deployment and operations. Stay updated on automation products, services, and industry standards to leverage technological advancements. Develop and assess Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regularly. Analyze requirements documents and generate technical design documents and implementation plans for projects of varying complexity. Ensure the technical environment is well-maintained and appropriately designed. Mentor junior team members. Foster open and continuous collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience with Linux or equivalent systems, including knowledge of security hardening best practices. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on programming experience, preferably in two of the following languages: Python, Perl, or Go. At least 3 years of experience in writing and implementing RESTful APIs. A minimum of 3 years working with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins). A minimum of 3 years in a critical production Linux environment.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with standard version control systems (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket, SVN). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in both verbal and written English. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. A DevOps and automation-oriented mindset.
