About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Multimodal Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Alta Planning + Design. As a key member of our Seattle office, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainable transportation projects that prioritize active mobility and community engagement.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, transportation planning, or a related field, with 4-6 years of experience in a consulting environment or public entity. Proficiency in MicroStation Connect and OpenRoads Designer is also essential.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a wide range of multimodal projects, from quick-build intersections to complex bikeway designs. Your expertise in problem-solving, design proficiency, and project management will be critical in meeting client needs and delivering high-quality results.

In this role, you will also have opportunities to lead site visits, participate in project coordination meetings, and collaborate with internal staff on creating conceptual designs and plans for grant applications and feasibility studies.

We offer a competitive salary of $110,000-$140,000 annually, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) matching.
