Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Speech Language Pathologists to join our team at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. As an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in assessing and providing services to children birth to three years old with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills, as well as feeding and oral motor skills, and augmentative/alternative communication
  • Develop and implement individualized communication programs, providing speech-language services, consultation, instruction, support services, and direct intervention
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services, including coordination of hearing screenings and assessments
  • Participate in inter/intra-agency committees, projects, or teams, and deliver in-service training as requested or approved by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, professional standards, and Board policy, including DODD regulations and standards set by the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • License in Speech-Language Pathology from the State of Ohio
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • Specific training and experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
