Empower Young Voices: Speech-Language Pathologist (K-12)

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital services to students across the entire K-12 spectrum with speech and language impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group speech-language evaluations to identify students' communication needs specific to their grade level (K-12).
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's speech and language goals, considering their unique developmental stage.
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches to address a range of communication disorders commonly seen in students across the K-12 spectrum, such as articulation difficulties, language delays, fluency issues, social communication challenges, and voice disorders.
  • Collaborate with general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students' communication development in all settings.
  • Monitor student progress, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of interventions to inform ongoing therapy plans.
  • Create positive and supportive learning environments that foster communication skills, confidence, and social interaction in students of all ages (K-12).
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology for the K-12 population.

Qualifications:

  • Ohio State License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
  • Prior experience working with students with speech and language impairments in a school setting, preferably across a K-12 caseload, is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment, intervention, and program development tailored for students at various developmental stages (K-12).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students of all ages, parents, and school staff.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Understanding of child and adolescent development as it relates to communication skills across the K-12 spectrum.
  • Passion for helping students of all ages overcome speech and language challenges and reach their full potential.
