Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of computed tomography images.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
  • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image visibility
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
  • ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • BLS certification

As a CT Tech, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily. You must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

  • Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
