About the Program

The Nurse Residency Program at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest is a year-long program designed to provide new graduate nurses with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today's hospital environment.

What to Expect

As a participant in the Nurse Residency Program, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

To be eligible for the Nurse Residency Program, you must:

  • Be a new graduate nurse with a degree in nursing
  • Have a valid RN license in the state of Virginia
  • Be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Have a strong commitment to patient-centered care
