Clinical Team Lead Job Description
The County of Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Clinical Team Lead to join its healthcare team. As a Clinical Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising nursing services in a clinic or emergency care unit and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Position
This position has the responsibility for the supervision of nursing services in a clinic or emergency care unit. The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct administrative and technical supervision to nurses including registered nurses. They must also have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) program certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Key Responsibilities
- Establishes and makes adjustments to nursing schedules to distribute required nursing skills on one or more shifts
- Supervises patient care delivery and nursing activities provided by the staff and collaborates with other disciplines and departments to provide care/services in assigned areas
- Enforces and interprets regulatory requirements, nursing standards, goals, hospital and nursing policies and procedures governing patient care, security, safety, and unit operations
- Evaluates and reviews evaluations of employee performance

Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Registered Nursing
- Two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct administrative and technical supervision to nurses including registered nurses
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) program certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program preferred
