Job Overview
As a pivotal leader within our distribution operations, you will oversee a dedicated team of approximately 20 warehouse staff, ensuring the seamless handling of materials across various functions including receiving, storage, and distribution. Your role will involve coordinating product shipments to our distribution center and directly to customers, while collaborating with other departments to achieve overarching facility goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead safety initiatives and ensure timely completion of safety audits on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of work hours and exceptions for all team members using KRONOS.
  • Provide training and supervision to staff, ensuring comprehensive documentation of their training progress.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading processes at shipping and receiving docks.
  • Manage the transport of hazardous materials to designated storage areas.
  • Ensure precise inventory tracking and conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Guarantee the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment utilized by warehouse personnel.
  • Process reports for damaged goods efficiently.
  • Supervise the preparation of products for shipment in accordance with departmental SOPs and customer specifications.
  • Monitor compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and DOT regulations among assigned personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Materials Manager.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures related to safety and operational standards.
  • Support various tasks as needed to enhance operational efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities
  • May lead specific projects as assigned.
  • May assist other departments with material movements outside of primary responsibilities.
  • May participate in re-bulking activities when required.
Qualifications

Education:
4-year degree preferred

Experience:
Minimum of three to five years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or distribution environment, demonstrating effective people management and communication skills in a dynamic setting.

Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to understand and follow complex instructions in various formats.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for measurement calculations.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of personnel.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy items as necessary.
  • Proficiency in warehouse equipment operation.
  • Familiarity with BPCS operating systems and MS Office for task completion.
