Framing and Customer Experience Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and creative Framing and Customer Experience Specialist to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable framing solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with customers to understand their framing needs and preferences.
  • Create custom framing solutions that meet our customers' expectations.
  • Execute Company policies and standards to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display activities to showcase our products.
  • Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
  • Retail experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move throughout the store and lift heavy boxes and frames.

Working Conditions:

Our store is a public retail setting with some stock rooms that may not be climate controlled. Some outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. The frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
