Job Summary

Abrazo Health Network is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at our Arrowhead Campus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families during this critical period.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Supervise and direct other healthcare employees in the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
Requirements
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications, as applicable by facility or department.
  • ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D: ACLS required upon orientation completion.
  • ER: PALS or ENPC required or must obtain within ninety days.
  • PACU: ACLS required or must obtain within six months of hire, PALS preferred.
  • Postpartum, Nursery, L&D: NRP required upon orientation completion.
  • Bariatrics: Certification or specialized training in bariatrics specialty area of practice.
  • Wound Care: Wound-Ostomy Certification or Training in Wound Care and/or Ostomy Care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
