Job Summary

The Distribution Driver Class B is a critical role within our logistics team, responsible for delivering products to clients across the state. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Deliver products to clients across the state, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Receive payment for goods delivered, sort merchandise by invoice for delivery, and adhere to safe and courteous operation of delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan trip logistics, obtain necessary documents to transport goods, and ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Complete all required paperwork daily, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR), and report any incidents to dispatcher.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in logistics or transportation.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
  • Physical Demands: Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
Working Conditions

This position is deemed a safety-sensitive position. As such, any person who is given a conditional offer of employment will be required to pass a drug test.
