Position Summary:
The individual in this role will oversee a small team focused on recruitment and onboarding, ensuring that the processes are efficient and effective in attracting top talent. This is a hands-on position that requires managing an active caseload while guiding the overall recruitment strategy.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in full life-cycle recruiting.
- A minimum of 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, handling a requisition load of 15 or more openings.
- Knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a courteous demeanor.
- Self-driven with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and manage stress effectively.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Work is primarily conducted in an office setting.
- Must be able to remain seated for extended periods.
- Frequent use of a computer, including monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to support their recruitment needs and objectives.
- Directly engage with hiring managers to fulfill recruitment requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Source candidates through networking, job postings, and other innovative methods.
- Maintain a database of pre-qualified candidates to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Evaluate candidates' qualifications and cultural fit for the organization.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and debrief sessions.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System to manage recruitment processes and maintain data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Participate in job fairs and career events to promote the company.
- Manage the recruitment process for approximately 15 open positions while supporting the team.
- Conduct interviews and summarize candidate qualifications for hiring managers.
- Provide candidates with comprehensive information about the company and position to ensure a positive experience.
- Oversee the offer process, including negotiations and reference checks.
- Guide candidates through the onboarding process.
- Develop and maintain effective sourcing strategies.
- Coach hiring managers on best practices in interviewing.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise the recruitment team and monitor performance.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to foster professional growth.
- Analyze departmental challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Lead initiatives to improve recruitment processes and metrics.
