Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager-In-Training to join our team. As a MIT, you will participate in a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role. You will learn about general training and comprehension, leadership development, policies and procedures, reporting, training, leadership, communication, safety, and customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in training, quality control, and in-servicing of staff according to policies and procedures and federal/state requirements.
  • Learn to provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure that quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
  • Train in maintaining records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment in report format to be delivered to HCSG and Facility management.
  • Learn to effectively handle managerial responsibilities, including payroll submission, staffing patterns, effective coaching and discipline, purchasing, maintaining inventory, and budgeting.
  • Communicate all directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a positive attitude, the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily. You must also have basic computer skills, be able to maintain records and complete reports as required, and be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
