Surgical Technician

Job Summary:

Harrison County Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in the care of patients in the Surgery Department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment.

• Function as a scrub assistant to the doctor and help in the set-up and break down of the operating room.

• Provide emotional support and stability to patients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• One of the following: Certification as a surgical technologist, one year of previous experience as a Surgery Technician, completion of an accredited surgical technology program, or appropriate abilities and education as determined by the hospital.
