Job Title: OB Scrub Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled OB Scrub Technician to assist our medical team in the operating room.

Responsibilities:

* Assist the doctor with vaginal deliveries and set up/break down of vaginal delivery tables
* Perform receptionist and secretarial duties, maintaining delivery logs and assisting nurses as needed
* Demonstrate emotional stability and maturity, accuracy, and flexibility in dealings with other people

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* One of the following: Certification as a surgical technologist, One year previous experience as an OB Surgery Technician, completion of an accredited surgical technology program, or appropriate abilities and educations as determined by the hospital
* Good knowledge of medical terminology
* Effective verbal and communication skills
* Ability to prepare and maintain sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment

Work Environment:

* Rotating Shift (Days and Nights)
* PRN (as needed)

* One year previous experience as an OB Surgery Technician

Education:

License/Certification:

* Certification as a surgical technologist

* Application of external fetal and maternal monitor

* Use of correct terminology, spelling, grammar in documentation
* Effective verbal and communication skills
* Demonstrates the ability to prepare and maintain sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment

Additional Information:

* STATUS: PRN (as needed) Rotating Shift (Days and Nights)
* EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or Equivalent, One of the following: Certification as a surgical technologist, One year previous experience as an OB Surgery Technician, completion of an accredited surgical technology program, or appropriate abilities and educations as determined by the hospital
