Job Summary

RTG Medical-Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a 12-week assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various imaging modalities, including ultrasound, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a diagnostic imaging department
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
