About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Highmark Health. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patient care needs, developing and implementing individualized plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient progress, including vital signs, lab results, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure.
  • Minimum one year of ICU experience, preferably in a neuro ICU setting.
  • Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
  • CPR certification.
