About the Job

MU Health Care is seeking a skilled Certified Hand Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients with upper extremity impairments.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about restoring function, improving dexterity, and enhancing the lives of our patients. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will administer treatments, design custom splints, and utilize modalities such as heat/cold, ultrasound, and manual therapy to help patients achieve optimal outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop occupational therapy plans aligned with developmental milestones.

Qualifications

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with licensure by the Missouri Board of Occupational Therapy, or a Physical Therapist with licensure by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts or PT Compact multi-state privilege. You must also have Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, as well as five years of clinical experience, including 4,000 hours in the direct practice of hand therapy.
