Compensation: $28-$33/hour

Shift Timing: 2nd Shift (1 pm - 11 pm)

Role Summary:

We are an SQF-certified food manufacturing facility seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to support all maintenance activities. This includes preventive maintenance, equipment updates, repairs, optimization, and installation of both existing and new machinery, while adhering to safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to workplace safety and environmental policies.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while working in various environments.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting (experience with food processing equipment is preferred).
  • Strong skills in pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance; familiarity with PLCs and VFDs is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform welding tasks.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality.
  • Capability to work independently or with minimal supervision while maintaining integrity.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Detail-oriented with knowledge of industrial equipment.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes on the production line.

Physical Requirements:

  • Exceptional hand/eye coordination.
  • Able to work in a warehouse with varying temperature conditions.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally above shoulder height.
  • Comfortable working in environments with light dust, flashing lights, and operational machinery nearby.
