Job Opportunity

University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Photographer II to join our team in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. As a key member of our clinical teaching and research imaging team, you will be responsible for performing ophthalmic diagnostic photography and contributing to the development of clinical teaching and research imaging programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ophthalmic diagnostic photography using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement clinical teaching and research imaging programs
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of imaging protocols and procedures
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality imaging services
Requirements
  • Professional certification in ophthalmic photography or a related field
  • Experience in clinical teaching and research imaging
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
