Landscape Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team at Robert D Gilmore & Associates, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading municipal landscape architecture and planning projects, including plan reviews, site inspections, and the development of parks and recreation plans.

• Conduct site visits to confirm existing conditions and prepare plan reviews.
• Perform inspections of tree protection and assess tree disturbance/tree preservation conditions.
• Prepare parks and recreation plans and reports, including Parks Master Site Development Plans, Conceptual Plans, and Construction Documents.
• Develop Comprehensive Parks, Recreation, Open Space, Greenways, and Trails Plans.
• Prepare corridor studies, streetscape plans, and conservation plans and reports.
• Prepare grant applications and grant administration services for projects with various local, county, state, and federal grant programs.
• Attend municipal meetings, including staff-level meetings and evening meetings with Boards and Commissions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related area.
• Registered Professional Landscape Architect in Pennsylvania.
• 4+ years of Landscape Architecture experience.

• Possesses working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional graphic communication skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
